My name is Joseph Dworak. Most people call me JVD.
I’ve had somewhere north of 40 jobs. Stock boy, campground hand, high school dropout, cable TV producer, door to door greeting card salesman at age eight, US Senate staffer, university admissions director, volleyball coach, SaaS sales leader, and a few things in between that don’t fit neatly into any category.
I didn’t plan it that way. But I also don’t regret any of it.
This blog is my attempt to go back through every job I’ve ever held and figure out what each one actually taught me. Some lessons were obvious. Most weren’t. All of them shaped who I am.
The book is coming. This is where it starts.
